About This Project

I have selected these seven photographs from a more complex project called “R_umore“. They are all self-portraits taken in an old uninhabited attic with the objects I found at that moment. I decided to use myself in front of and behind the lens because I felt the need to express my creative side one hundred percent. I experienced these portraits as an “artistic liberation”, a part that has always been in conflict with the more rational one but that has always made “R_umore” a deafening silence inside me over time. In these, as in the other self-portraits, my face never appears because I wanted my body, my soul to be on stage, with the help of the objects I found.
