Britomart

Britomart, a nymph associated with hunting and the phases of the moon, is the protagonist of a painful path to liberation, which ends in her transformation into wave foam. La di lei is a story of transformation, emancipation, and redemption.

In her story, we can read a clear and pure metaphor of sisterhood and the crucial relationship between woman and nature, essential links in the processes of self-determination, emancipation, and personal elevation.
The “Britomart” project is an investigation into the saving power of the sisterhood relationship, intended as a foothold, a safe space, and vehicle for an authentic and conscious affirmation of oneself.
