«This diptych is part of an ongoing series that is an expression of my longing for a world that makes me want to live to the fullest again after struggling with depression for quite some time now. At the same time, it also shows an escape from the outer world into my inner reality with all its beauty and quiet magic, that out there in real life I seem to miss too often. In the end, it is this dreamlike series in which I find a world, that is full of excitement, temptations, and stimulation of all our senses – a world that gives me hope.»
