Straticore

The self-portrait project “Straticore” draws a descriptive line on the concept of layer, accumulation and bodies placing themselves in the form of the self-portrait and investigates the performative gesture of self-filming. The parallel of classical symbols clashes with the typically contemporary materials of mass production of garments. “Straticore” attempts a reflection on the theme of the individual characterized to the exhaustion of his belongings, Leading it to a corruption of its uniqueness by the fallacious character for the use of media unsuitable for the purpose of recognizing themselves as unique individuals. The project was born as a need for change, driven by the need to improve their daily experience within the social space and to better represent themselves as themselves.
