Mythical Sea Stack
The sea stacks in Iceland, are associated with a tradition and mythology that provide a fascinating backdrop to their presence on the shorelines. This particular sea stack is located at the far side of Black Beach in southern Iceland near the town of Vik. The sea is often rough and challenging to photograph, however on this occasion it provided the soft mist-like quality needed to create the image.
