The First Lady and the painted kids

With the soft light of the early morning sun, the wife of the village chief of the Karo tribe, awaits the arrival of her husband while some children begin to paint each other’s faces as it happens every morning following the tribal tradition. Behind them the majestic Omo River and the magnificent territory of southern Ethiopia are the setting for a new day.
