About This Project

Konstantina Sidiropoulou

90-180 days

At a time of extreme environmental upheaval caused by climate change, this project uses volcanoes as a metaphor to understand creation, morality and our relationship to the earth. It explores how volcanic landscapes are connected to society and exposes how photography connects nature to modernity.

Standing still

Created with zero waste materials, this project addresses new ways of photographic printing. It is changing before your eyes even if you can’t see it.

On volcanic black sand

90 to 180 days is the length of time it takes for biodegradable material to break down and become one with nature.
