«I am intrigued by unwitting arrangements of discarded objects, and I capture these arrangements in many of my images.
Randomness, chaos, deterioration, and loss are the ostensible subjects of these images. The reassembly of these images mimics and emphasizes the random and chaotic arrangements that I have found and have presented. These objects are old, isolated, and deteriorating. The abandoned objects have lost their usefulness and, thus, their value to their creators and owners. The figurative subjects of these images–my concerns–are my own deterioration and loss.
These images and their reassembly point to our demise so that I and viewers can react and adjust to the negative feelings regenerated by chaos, deterioration, and loss in the images.»
